Past Events

We were honored to host Veterans from as far west as Arizona and as far north as Connecticut for our February 6–8, 2025 event in South Carolina. The experience began at Camp Woodie in Pinewood, where the South Carolina Shorebirds Quilts of Valor chapter presented 38 handmade Quilts of Valor to Veterans, followed by a heartfelt group dinner on February 6th.

The next morning, participants enjoyed sporting clays and a pheasant tower shoot, harvesting an impressive 176 pheasants. Fourteen first-time duck hunters received shotgun training before joining in the shoot, making the day even more memorable. That evening, everyone gathered at Whitehouse Farms in Georgetown for the benefit dinner and auction, with proceeds supporting FourBlock and Upstate Warrior Solution to continue their vital work for Veterans, Service Members, First Responders, and their families.

The event concluded on February 8th with a remarkable duck hunt across ten historic properties, where participants harvested 180 ducks. It was an unforgettable three days of camaraderie, healing, and honoring those who have served.
